Dome Camp
The Camp Nevados de Sollipulli is situated in the middle of the mountains at the Northeast base
of the Sollipulli volcano, in the Andes Mountain Range, the county of
Melipeuco, Chile.
The Sollipulli camp is surrounded by
the spectacular mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes. The forest is
composed of thousand year old Coigue and Araucaria trees, along with
diverse flora and fauna of Chile, south America including fox, pumas,
Pudues (small Chilean deer), Wild Boar. Bird life includes Chilean
condors, wood peckers, and humming birds among many other species.
Together they are the back-drop to the Sollipulli base camp.
